Barrow Hill star line-up 8 February 2014

Roger Geach supplied this impressive view of 60008 DWIGHT D EISENHOWER, 4489 DOMINION of CANADA and 60532 BLUE PETER at Barrow Hill.

It's good to see D1015 Western Champion back out on the mainline again and here she is near Great Bowden on 12th November acting as replacement for

a BRF Class 66 on 6D02 1121 Wellingborough-Mountsorrel.

Some of my first  B&W photos taken around Paignton in the early 1960s.

Thought to be 1963 or 1964, D7014 + D853 Thruster coast down Goodrington bank from the Kingswear direction.

A down holiday train coasts into Goodrington yard, probably 1964.

In the days when freight still occasionally worked on the branch, D7090 passes through Goodrington station heading towards Paignton, circa 1965.

Mazey Day June 2012 brought a Deltic and double-headed 37s to Cornwall.

Captured crossing St Germans viaduct by Roger Geach on 23 June are 55022 and 37516+37676.

Locomotive variety in the Lincolnshire winter sunshine courtesey of Roger Geach.

Firstly, on 15th December, A4 4492 passes Stow Park with a Norwich-York steam charter.

Next, diesel power as GBRF Class 66 No 66705 passes West Brecks crossing, Cottam, with a train from Tyne Dock.

Finally, on 17th December, 70013 is seen with a Kings Cross to York train near Retford.
